Let’s have a look at your energy in usual situations.
We are being filled with subtle energy when we feel euphoria and love. We can perform actions that previously required much tension. We literally jump for joy. This means that the subtle energy manifests itself quickly and powerfully in our bodies. Sex without love makes us spend a lot of energy. Sex with love, on the contrary, brings a lot of energy. We almost never get tired of our favorite work. Work without love quickly deprives us of strength. The opinion that the body is fed only from food is a false stereotype.
“Man shall not live by bread alone”—Deuteronomy 8:3.
Man is a complex open power system. He has many sources of energy supply. The most important of them are subtle energy and physical food. Did I move the chair due to the energy from the food or due to the subtle energy of love? It is impossible to determine precisely. Physical nutrition includes a subtle component. This can be understood from such an example. The food will become unsuitable for you if it was prepared by your close friend during a strong resentment against you. But other people will enjoy this wonderful dish.
The lack of energy from one source can be compensated at the expense of another. Monks and saints usually eat little, because they receive a lot of subtle energy from the external field of God. A person under stress loses subtle energy and often seeks to compensate for these losses through increased consumption of regular food. The problem of overeating and overweight often occurs due to an insufficient amount of love.
Conclusion. We get a certain amount of energy from food. The other part comes to us from other people and from the external field when we are in a state of love. We spend this energy in ordinary life. Subtle energy also goes away during anxiety, irritation, condemnation, offense.
What is changing with this perception of energy? Everything is changing!
